Kothagudem: Man cuts off opponent’s private parts during brawl

The accused, Rudrarapu Karthik, a salesman from Moula Ali in Hyderabad was taking shelter in a cell tower shed at Rudrampur. A local, Shaik Hussain Pasha, who was in a drunken state, picked up a quarrel with the accused and hurled invectives at him.

Kothagudem: In a brawl between two men that took place in the late hours of Tuesday at Rudrampur near here, a man cut off an ear and the private parts of his opponent.

The accused, Rudrarapu Karthik, a salesman from Moula Ali in Hyderabad was taking shelter in a cell tower shed at Rudrampur. A local, Shaik Hussain Pasha, who was in a drunken state, picked up a quarrel with the accused and hurled invectives at him. In a fit of rage, Karthik beat up Pasha and inflicted bleeding injuries by cutting off his ear and his private parts with a knife. The injured man was shifted to the government hospital in Khammam for treatment.

The accused was taken into custody, and a case under Section 307 of IPC was registered against him. Investigations are underway, informed CI B Satyanarayana.
