At least 12 passengers were injured after a private bus overturned at Gattudem village in Kothagudem district, reportedly due to brake failure, triggering allegations of lax enforcement against illegally operated out-of-State registered buses
The accused, Rudrarapu Karthik, a salesman from Moula Ali in Hyderabad was taking shelter in a cell tower shed at Rudrampur. A local, Shaik Hussain Pasha, who was in a drunken state, picked up a quarrel with the accused and hurled invectives at him.
Khammam first additional district judge, V Bala Bhaskar informed that around 300 cases, filed under the POCSO Act were transferred to the court from Khammam district court.
