Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Monday expressed deep anguish over the suicide of a fifth-grade student at the Jyothiba Phule Gurukul hostel in Toopranpet, Choutuppal mandal of Yadadri Bhongir district. Calling the incident a tragic outcome of government negligence, he blamed the Congress regime for the deteriorating conditions in Gurukul schools.

“Students are being forced to eat rice infested with worms and survive in hostels lacking even basic facilities. This is driving them to take their own lives,” he said.
