Land registrations resume in Telangana
He requested the people to note that the Tahsildar offices would be opened upto 1 pm and all the slots scheduled for the day will be completed during this period.

Hyderabad: Registration of land documents and other transactions through Dharani portal, which had been suspended in the wake of the lockdown imposed on May 12, resumed on Monday across the State following revised timings of relaxation.
As many as 312 applications were received for registration and mutation while another 48 were for succession and one for partition. Besides, 56 applications pertaining to pending mutation and 27 for Non-Agriculture Lands Assessment (NALA) were also received. In all, 82 applications for registration and mutation were approved along with 25 applications received for succession and one for partition. All the 56 applications received for pending mutation and 14 for NALA were also approved.
Meanwhile, Chief Secretary and Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (Full Additional Charge) Somesh Kumar requested people to note that Tahsildar offices would remain open till 1 pm and all the slots scheduled for the day would be completed during the relaxation period.
Covid protocols such as wearing of masks and maintaining physical distancing should be strictly followed and only registering persons along with two witnesses would be permitted during the transactions. No outsiders would be allowed, he said.
In view of lockdown restrictions enforced across the State, the registrations of documents and other transactions in Dharani portal were stopped from May 12 to 30. Since the State government extended the lockdown by another 10 days from May 31 to June 9 with certain modifications, registration of documents was permitted with advance slot booking, duly following Covid protocol.
Somesh Kumar asked the District Collectors to instruct all the Tahsildar-cum-Joint Sub-Registrars and other officials concerned to follow the instructions scrupulously.
