Yadadri-Bhongir: Sri Yadadri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple on Sunday witnessed a huge rush of the devotees due to auspicious Karthika Masam.
As Sunday was the last holiday in Karthika Masam, devotees thronged the temple. People have a belief that having darshan of lord Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy at Yadadri temple would bring good fortunes for their families. The queue lines were packed with the devotees from the early morning of the day. Serpentine queues also appeared at the prasadam counters on the hill shrine. It took four hours for the devotees for general darshan at Balalayam and two hours for VIP darshan.
A large number of devotees also participated in Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Vrathams, which were conducted by the archakas in old Goshala Vratha Mandapam.
