LaunchPadX hackathon draws 1,034 students in Hyderabad
LaunchPadX, the National Innovation Hackathon 2026, was conducted at SNIST Hyderabad to promote innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among students. A total of 231 teams comprising 1,034 students participated, with the Rudra team from ACE Engineering College winning the competition

Hyderabad: LaunchPadX, a two-day National Innovation Hackathon 2026 was conducted by Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST), Hyderabad.
Designed to encourage creativity, innovation, technical excellence, and entrepreneurial thinking among students, the hackathon was conducted as a 36-hour innovation event during which participating students worked in teams to identify real-world challenges and develop innovative technology-driven solutions within a challenging and collaborative environment.
A major attraction of the LaunchPadX was the Rs.1,00,000 cash prize for the winning teams.
The event was attended by Rruve Manta, Global Chief Operating Officer, President & Board Member, Sai Eshwar, Founder & CEO – Stud Lyf, Principal Dr. C.H. Shiva Reddy, HOD Dr. Sirisha, Associate HOD Dr. Ramachandra, Associate HOD Dr. Mamatha, Dr. Dhamodhar, and Dr. Madhukar.
A total of 231 teams with 1034 students participated and the winners were Rudra Team members – Varshith Reddy Bokka, Harshith Varma P, Amith Bhanbhu, Seelam Srush Reddy and Victor Issac Chintha from ACE Engineering College.
