Legal Services Authority inspects Sangareddy jail
District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) secretary B Ramesh inspected the Central Jail in Sangareddy on Wednesday following the directions of the State Legal Services Authority and the District Judge, Sangareddy.
Sangareddy: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) secretary B Ramesh inspected the Central Jail in Sangareddy on Wednesday following the directions of the State Legal Services Authority and the District Judge, Sangareddy.
Going around the jail premises, Ramesh examined the barracks, kitchen, rooms and toilets. He even tasted the food that was ready to be served to the inmates. He also spoke to the inmates about their issues.
Ramesh also visited the legal aid clinic in the jail and enquired whether the inmates were getting help in obtaining bail. He also enquired whether inmates were permitted to meet their family members over ‘mulaqat’ following the guidelines.
