It’s been a year and a half almost that the schools have been closed across the globe. Though students can’t attend school physically due to this pandemic, here are some ways to make an online class more interactive, presentable and easy to understand…
Bridge the gap: It’s important to talk more and more to the children. Make sure you are approachable so that the kids open up about everything. Talk to them personally, conduct a session every weekend wherein the class teacher talks to the students individually in probably five-minute slots.
Get updated with the teaching tools: Use apps and websites like Toy theater, O- Labs, Mathigon, and make the topic more understandable and give quizzes on Kahoot and Quizzes to add fun.
Give them real-time responsibilities: Assign the students with each topic from the chapter and ask them to present. This helps them to build interpersonal skills, creative skills and also acts as an opportunity for them to analyse the topic given.
Yes, times are difficult, but with little effort put in by the parents, students and teachers we can all get par this.
