Malkajgiri MLA meets Sridhar Babu over Waqf Board issues
Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy met IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, thanked him for land allotment to Brahmin Sangh, and raised Waqf Board property issues affecting residents. The Minister assured action and directed officials to resolve the matter
Hyderabad: Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy paid a courtesy call on IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and thanked him for allocating one acre of land to the Brahmin Sangh in Malkajgiri constituency.
The MLA had a comprehensive discussion with the Minister to resolve the problems related to the Waqf Board concerning house properties of people living in several colonies in the constituency.
He explained the difficulties faced by local people due to the claims made by the Waqf Board on incorrectly registered survey numbers and informed that the properties concerned were purchased legally with evidence of sale deeds, link documents, pahani documents etc.
Sridhar Babu assured that he would look into the issue thoroughly and take appropriate action. He also instructed him to speak to the CEO of the Waqf Board, Mohammed Asadullah, and take necessary steps to resolve the issue.
Former corporator Chintala Shanti Srinivas Reddy, BRS leaders Doli Ramesh, Laxman Yadav, Pawan, Narsinga Rao, Tirupati Rao, Malkajgiri Brahmin Sangha members Nanda Prasad, Surya Kumari and others participated in the programme.
