Malkajgiri MLA proposes new RTC routes for better connectivity

At an interactive session held at the Telangana Legislative Assembly premises, MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy submitted a memorandum to Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, proposing several new RTC bus routes to address the commuting needs of Malkajgiri residents.

Hyderabad: An interactive session was held at Community Hall-1 within the Telangana Legislative Assembly premises, under the aegis of the Minister for BC Welfare and Transport, Ponnam Prabhakar.

The session brought together senior RTC officials and public representatives to comprehensively discuss various issues related to the RTC and to explore solutions aimed at enhancing public convenience.

Marri Rajasekhar Reddy, MLA for Malkajgiri, participated in this programme and, keeping in mind the transportation needs of the people in the Malkajgiri constituency, he submitted a memorandum to the Minister proposing several new bus routes.

The proposed bus routes are Macha Bolarum to Charminar, Macha Bolarum to ECIL (via Mehdipatnam), Nanakramguda (via Suchitra), Kowkur to ECIL, Yapral – Ammuguda – Bhavans College, Balaji Nagar to ECIL (via Yapral), Vinayaka Nagar Division:

Secunderabad to Kakatiya Nagar (via Sainathpuram) and extending to ECIL Moula Ali Division: RTC Colony to ECIL, Mahatma Gandhi Nagar to ECIL,

ECIL to Afzalgunj (via RTC Colony) and Gautham Nagar Division, from Ayan Nagar to Secunderabad (via Malka Mahendra Hills – Ramanjaneya Nagar).

Additionally, the MLA requested that the construction of new bus shelters be undertaken in areas where they are needed.
