Man arrested with 129 kg ganja in Suryapet

Suryapet: Tirumalgiri police on Saturday arrested a person at Mamidala crossroads in the district and seized 129 kilograms of ganja from his possession. The arrested was identified as Erra Mogili (30), who is a native of Mupparam village of Dharmasagar mandal in Warangal district.
Suryapet DSP Mohan Kumar told pressmen on Saturday that the contraband was found in a car which was intercepted by the police at a vehicle check-up point at Mamidala crossroads. During interrogation, Mogili confessed to transporting it to Zaheerabad from Bhadrachalam.
One of his acquaintances, Bhukya Shanker, was paying Rs 20,000 to him for transporting ganja to the selected places for each time. He was involved in the illegal act due to financial problems.
