Man booked for illegal teak timber storage in Chintapalli
A man in Chintapalli village, Jannaram mandal, was booked for allegedly storing teak timber illegally at his residence. Forest officials seized timber worth over Rs. 24,000, which has been shifted to the Jannaram FRO office for further inquiry and legal proceedings.

Mancherial: A man was booked for allegedly procuring and storing teak timber illegally in his house at Chintapalli village in Jannaram mandal on Friday. Timber worth over Rs.24,000 was seized from his possession.
Jannaram Forest Range Officer Sushma Rao, in a statement, said a case was registered against Muthyam Venkanna from the village for procuring and storing the teak timber at his house. Venkanna was found to have stored the timber logs during a surprise raid conducted by the Forest officials, following a tip-off. The timber was shifted to the office of Jannaram FRO for further inquiry and legal action.
