Man robbed of Rs.50 lakh in Afzalgunj

According to the police, a person Jog Singh, who is into steel business, gave the Rs 50 lakh to one Mitti Lal Raj to hand it over at his house. Mitti Lal took the cash in a bag and started for Jog Singh’s house on a scooter.

Hyderabad: Unidentified persons robbed a man of Rs 50 lakh at Afzalgunj in the city on Wednesday night.

According to the police, a person Jog Singh, who is into steel business, gave the Rs 50 lakh to one Mitti Lal Raj to hand it over at his house. Mitti Lal took the cash in a bag and started for Jog Singh’s house on a scooter.

“When he reached near Sudha Medical store lane at Afzalgunj, two persons came on a motorcycle and hit his scooter. He fell on the road and the offenders took away the cash bag and escaped,” Afzalgunj police said.

A case was booked and investigation is on.
