Beneficiaries of Aasara Pensions scheme at the office of Gram Panchayat at Shetpalli village in Kotapalli mandal on Tuesday
Mancherial: Setting an example for others, 183 beneficiaries of Aasara pensions from Shetpally village in Kotapalli mandal came forward to contribute Rs 1,098 towards Haritha Nidhi, the Green Fund set up by the State government. They will deposit Rs 6 each per month.
Addressing Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the beneficiaries led by Gone Gangakka in a written application, said they voluntarily decided to contribute to the recently created Haritha Nidhi. They wished the government all the success in the initiative. “As our contribution, we will donate a portion of the monetary support extended by the government,” they said.
