Mancherial: Dr Parvati Satyanarayana, a senior teacher union leader has been unanimousy elected as honorary State president of Progressive Recognised Teachers Union (PRTU). The general council of the union had a meeting and announced this in Hyderabad on Saturday.
The Headmaster of Mamidipalli Zilla Parishad Secondary School in Dandepalli mandal, Satyanarayana is an official spokesperson of the union. He had worked erstwhile Adilabad district president of PRTU for quite a long time. He was felicitated by Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy.
Satyanarayana was congratulated by teachers and colleagues on being elected as the state honorary president of the union.
