Medical representative held selling Remdesivir injections in Hyderabad
The arrested person was identified as Mohd Shafiuddin (38), a medical representative from Kishanbagh in Bahadurpura.
Hyderabad: The South Zone Task Force nabbed a man on charges of illegally selling Remdesivir injections at Hussainialam here on Tuesday.
The arrested person was identified as Mohd Shafiuddin (38), a medical representative from Kishanbagh in Bahadurpura.
According to Task Force officials, Shafiuddin, who works for a private pharma company had procured the injections at lower rates from known dealers.
“He sold them between Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 each injection vial,” they said.
Police seized 20 Remdesivir injection vials from his possession.
The suspect and the seized material were handed over to the Hussainialam police for further action.
