Meet Jahnavi Dhanrajgir aka Saakshi from ‘Broken But Beautiful’
Jahnavi Dhanrajgir is not just an actor but also a multifaceted artiste.
She worked as an assistant editor in movies like ‘Gunday’, ‘Kick’, ‘The Shaukeens’ and ‘Sultan’ (she was also the assistant director of the film). Now, she’s set to make her acting debut with the film ‘Bolo Hau’, directed by her father, Tarun Dhanrajgir.
She plays Rukhsar, a girl who belongs to the family of nawabs. Besides acting in it, Jahnavi also edited the film. She’s now set to make her digital debut with the web series, ‘Broken But Beautiful’, co-starring Siddharth Shukla. Jahnavi plays a pivotal role in the web series. She got her first acting assignment when she was 4 in a docu-drama series.
Hailing from Mumbai, Jahnavi grew up in four countries and attended 13 different schools. She has a degree in filmmaking and majors in editing from New Zealand. She decided to become an editor when she was 15.
An avid reader, Jahnavi completed a course in acting before plunging into the world of films. A vegan and an animal lover, she even is parent to three rescued cats. The young and talented girl also sketches and sometimes plays the violin.
