Minister Indrakaran donates one kilo gold for Yadadri temple
He announced this at a celestial wedding of the god celebrated ceremoniously in NTR-Mini Stadium in Nirmal on Saturday.
Nirmal: As per a call given by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Forest Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy donated a kilogram of gold for gold plating of Vimanagopuram of the renovated Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy Devasthanam of Yadadri. He announced this at a celestial wedding of the god celebrated ceremoniously in NTR-Mini Stadium in Nirmal on Saturday.
Indrakaran, who was the chief guest of the wedding, said that he and his family members would donate the gold for the gold plating. He further declared that he would raise another kilogram with the help of donors and the public of Nirmal Assembly constituency. He requested people of villages and towns and elected representatives to become partners of the initiative.
Earlier, the minister performed special prayers at his residence. He, his wife and family members presented silk clothing to the idols of Sri Narasimha Swamy and Laxmi brought from Yadadri. He welcomed the idols. Principal priests of Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy Devasthanam and vedic pandits solemnized the wedding amidst vedic hymns.
