Sangareddy: In a brutal murder, beheaded body of a man was found at Kusnuru village of Raikode mandal in Sangareddy district.
The victim was identified as Kadavath Raju (32) of Velimela Tanda in BDL Police Station limits. Raju was reported missing from January 24. His family members registered a case at BDL Police Station on January 25. While the torso was dumped at Raghavapur village of Nyalkal mandal, his severed head was found at Kusnuru village.
Following a complaint by the family members, the BDL Police registered a case. The police reportedly took six persons into custody. During investigation, the accused reportedly informed the police that they killed Raju on January 24 near Indrakaran and dumped the body at two different places.
Shockingly, his younger brother Gopal Nayak was among the seven accused. Raju’s family was having serious land dispute with one Ram Singh. Raju’s father was also murdered in 1990 on the same issue. Raju was ST Cell president of Patancheru mandal.
