MoS Defence Sanjay Seth pledges Centre’s support to AVNL facility
Accompanied by Medak MP Raghunandan Rao, the MoS Defence toured the facility and rode a war tank.

Sangareddy: Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth said the government will extend all support to the Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) to produce diverse vehicles, focusing on research and development.
Speaking after his visit to Ordnance Factory (ODF) at Yeddumailaram in Sangareddy district on Thursday, the Union Minister said that the government will also support the AVNL in achieving self-sustenance.
The Minister and Medak MP Raghunandan Rao were taken on a tour of the ODF and were briefed about the vehicles being manufactured at the facility.
The Union Minister even rode on a war tank. Chairman and Managing Director AVNL, Sanjay Dwivedi and Director of Operations, Satyabrata Mukherje, guided the Minister through the ODF. They also planted saplings on the factory premises to mark World Environment Day. Seth also joined them in planting saplings at the facility.
