Mystery shrouds death of woman in Karimnagar; son missing
The deceased, Mamatha, was reportedly staying away from her husband Bharath due to family disputes
KARIMNAGAR: Mystery shrouds the death of Mamatha, whose body was found under suspicious circumstances near Kondannapalli stage of Gangadhara mandal beside Karimnagar-Jagtial main road on Monday. Her son, who was last seen boarding a car with her, was still missing.
Police, who began investigation by registering a case of suspicious death of an unidentified woman, managed to find her details by alerting the police of neighbouring districts. They later managed to identify her as Mamatha from Mancherial.
Mamatha was reportedly staying away from her husband Bharath due to family disputes. Bharath was working in Hyderabad and the couple had a son.
Mamatha, who was reportedly staying with her friend, left home along with her son for shopping and did not return. As per CCTV footage collected by the police in Mancherial, Mamatha along with her son boarded a waiting car. While the woman was found dead near Kondannapalli, her son is still missing.
Police have formed three teams to trace the whereabouts of the boy.
