NETRA art fest exhibits a splash of colours

Pallavi International School, Gandipet organised Netra Art Conclave 2020 to hone the latent creative abilities of each budding artist. The event stood as a platform for young minds to transcend the boundaries of their inherent aesthetic potential and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of many schools across Hyderabad.
DDMS P Obul Reddy Public School, Army Public School-RK Puram, Glendale Academy International, Niraj International School, PMS-Boduppal, PMS-Keesara, DPS-Mahendra Hills, PMS-Alwal, Pallavi Aware International School, PMS-Bowenpally, DPS-Nadergul and AksharaVaagdevi International School were the participating schools.
The event was graced by Pallavi and DPS Group of Schools Chairman M Komariah. He appreciated the efforts of participants and teachers for hosting the event and was excited to share how his team made every effort to make this year a year of new normal accomplishments.
Children participated in various activities under different categories like drawing and colouring, best out of the waste craft, collage making, warli painting, flock art, tribal art with various themes. The pre-primary children along with their parents set their canvases ablaze with a riot of colours. The primary and secondary children created an intriguing array of paintings depicting various art forms.
Principal Meetali Archit motivated the participants and told them to screenshot the vibrancy of the event. Special guest Bhaskara Rao Botcha, an eminent and renowned artist addressed the gathering and shared his happiness to see the transformation of art and other means of performing art culminating into the school curriculum. He motivated the children to pursue their dreams in their fields of interest.
The highlights of the event were the display of creative work of all the judges, Ganesh Vandana Invocation dance, glimpses of last year’s DEAP(drop everything and paint) event, a teaser of fabulous art and craftwork of Pallavi facilitators, the opening ceremony ended with a musical rap song by E Harini Sri Reddy, head girl of Pallavi International School, Gandipet.
