Nirmal Collector inspects KGBV, instructs officials to raise education standards

Collector Abhilasha Abhinav inspected a Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Nirmal as part of the State’s 99-day action plan. She reviewed food quality, stock management, and educational standards, while interacting with students to understand their concerns.

Nirmal: Collector Abhilasha Abhinav instructed officials to ensure effective implementation of the 99-day action plan introduced by the State government. She inspected a Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya as part of a field-level supervision of the initiative here on Thursday.

During the visit, the Collector examined the management of the mess, quality of food, maintenance of stock and other amenities at the school. She also interacted with the students to understand their concerns and assessed the quality of education and food provided at the institution.

Later, she convened a review meeting with the teaching staff and the principal. The Collector stressed the need to achieve the objectives of the initiative and warned that stern action would be taken against officials showing laxity in implementing the programme. She also asked teachers to work hard to improve educational standards.
