Hyderabad: Questions have arisen over the claims made by Bandi Sai Bageerat, son of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, in a complaint filed against a minor girl and her parents at the Karimnagar police station.
Bageerat, against whom a POCSO case was registered at Petbasheerabad police station based on a complaint by the minor girl, alleged that some of his friends had earlier faced similar accusations from the girl and her family and that a case had been registered against them at a police station in Nirmal district.
However, sources in the Nirmal police denied the registration of any such complaint or FIR.
In his complaint, Bageerat stated: “It is further submitted that a few of my friends had a similar issue with these people and had earlier lodged a complaint against Ms. … at Nirmal Police Station on April 21, 2026, and it is reported that an FIR has been registered in that regard.”
Police sources in Nirmal, however, maintained that neither a complaint nor an FIR matching the claims mentioned in the complaint was found in their records. The discrepancy has raised questions over the veracity of the allegations cited in the complaint filed by Bageerat.
