Hyderabad: National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM), Gachibowli, received ISO Certifications including ISO 9001 – 2015 Quality Management System for Education Training and Consultancy in Tourism and Hospitality Education, ISO 50001 – 2011 Energy Management System for Implementation of Energy Saving Practices and ISO 14001 – 2015 Environment Management System for Implementation of Greenery and Environmental Promotion Activities.
The certificates were received by NITHM Director Dr S Chinnam Reddy from Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar. Reddy on Tuesday organized a success meet with all staff and students of the NITHM and said the ISO Certification for the QMS would certainly help to get the NAAC grade and further to make the NITHM a tourism university.
