No incident of gang-rape reported during Medaram Jatara: Mulugu police

Mulugu police have strongly refuted rumours circulating on social media about a minor girl’s alleged gang-rape during the Medaram Jatara. DSP clarified that Narlapur police investigated the matter thoroughly and confirmed no such incident took place.

Mulugu: The police have refuted rumours being spread on social media about a minor girl’s gang-rape during the recent Medaram Jatara.

In a statement on Tuesday, Mulugu DSP stated that Narlapur police conducted a thorough investigation into the matter and it was found that no such incident occurred. The reports of gang-rape were false and far from the truth, the DSP said.
