Nalgonda: Not wearing a mask, spitting in public place and brushing teeth on the streets would attract Rs 1,000 fine in Anneparthy village of Nalgonda district.

As per the decision of grama panchayat, a lockdown was being implemented in the village, which will continue until May 31. Shops, including groceries and vegetable shops, would be allowed to open from 6 am to 10 am only.

Speaking to Telangana Today, village Sarpanch Mekala Aravind Reddy said that wearing mask while coming out of houses was mandatory. Spitting on the roads was also banned. People have a habit of brushing their teeth outside their houses while moving around in streets in this village. Keeping this in mind, brushing in public places was also banned.
