Hyderabad: Hyderabad House, the eatery well-known for its Deccani delicacies, has been re-launched in Hyderabad on Sunday. The noted restaurant, which began its journey in 1975 but had to shut down a few years ago due to unforeseen circumstances, has re-launched its first outlet at Begumpet.
The new Hyderabad House at Begumpet was inaugurated by Minister for Animal Husbandry, Talasani Srinivas Yadav in the presence of the restaurant founder Zubair. “I congratulate the management for reopening Hyderabad House, which is known for its Hyderabadi delicacies. I am hoping that the food industry will be back to its glory in the coming months after the pandemic,” Talasani said.
Zubair, who is the son of the original promoter of Hyderabad House, Mir Mazharuddin, said that he was planning to launch a restaurant for a long time. “My father Mir Mazharuddin and his brother Mir Anwaruddin, who were well known in Hyderabad for their catering business, wanted to expand the business. While the catering business was doing well, we also started getting small orders in the city which is difficult to cook,” he said.
To cook dum-ka-khana for 10 people is difficult, so we thought why not start an outlet where food can be ordered for any number of people? That was initially the concept behind Hyderabad House. Later, a company observed our working model and helped develop it further and the famous Hyderabad House outlets started. From a single restaurant, Hyderabad House grew to multiple outlets across India and also with its presence in Australia, Nepal, Saudi Arabia and the UAE,” Zubair said.
Unfortunately the restaurant was forced to close down due to various factors. Later Mir Mazharuddin and his son Zubair had decided to re-launch the brand at a time when the entire world was trying to come out of COVID pandemic.
