Hyderabad: Kairos Global School organised an array of activities for the students despite the constraints posed by Covid-19. The pandemic failed to dampen the spirits of the students and they participated in a plethora of events that showcased their inimitable talent.
The young minds participated in a science invention presentation where they amazed the audience with their scientific skills. They presented complex concepts in the form of working models and explained the same. The young master chefs donned their aprons and chef hats and prepared delicious dishes in ‘No Flame cooking’. The students spoke about the essential differences between nutritious food and junk food. The competition taught the children about the benefits of healthy eating.
The Academic Fair was a huge success as the students, along with the support of the teachers and parents, presented a diverse range of academic skills. They covered subjects from science, mathematics and English and demonstrated topics. The Academic Fair gave them a sense of confidence as they hosted, participated and took the responsibilities of the event on their little shoulders.
Children’s Day and Diwali were extraordinarily joyful event as the students engaged in various activities like origami, clay art, making greeting cards, poster making and painting.
A major and memorable event was the Haritha Haram. The school created an awareness of environment-friendly scheme initiated by the Telangana government by adopting plant saplings on June 27 at the school.
Darga Police Station Circle Inspector Ravinder was the chief guest and Sub-Inspector Syedulluh was the guest of honour. KGS Chairman Dr M Venkata Reddy planted saplings and spoke on the essence of protecting greenery and nature.
Students were ecstatic and pleased to exhibit their unique talents in music, dance and fancy dress competitions. This instilled confidence in them to perform in front of an audience and be acquainted with their strengths.
The school said it consciously takes efforts to see that co-curricular activities are structured and balanced with the scholastic educational or academic curriculum so that every student gets the opportunity to learn beyond studies.
