The Charminar police had registered a case on Sunday after the incident after one of the relatives of the people who died in the incident made a complaint.

The police have already asked different government departments to visit the place and conduct an investigation.

According to sources, the fire broke out following a compressor blast due to overheating and soon spread in the building which has a lot of wood work on the ceiling.

The vehicles parked in the entrance added to the fire creating obstacles for the entry into the building.

Meanwhile, the Bahadurpura Tahsildar conducted a panchnama and handed over some property from the building to the family members on Tuesday in presence of the local police.
