Hyderabad: Online sale of tickets for the fourth India–New Zealand T20 International, scheduled at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on January 28, will begin on January 23 at 5 pm through the District by Zomato app.
Meanwhile, a high-level review meeting was held on Wednesday evening to assess arrangements for the match.
The meeting, chaired by City Police Commissioner Dr Shankha Brata Bagchi, discussed security, traffic regulation, stadium management, drinking water, and sanitation.
Dr Bagchi said a numbered seating system has been introduced to ensure spectators face no inconvenience, and clarified that tickets will be available only online with no offline sales. He directed officials to strengthen security, manage crowd flow at entry points, install CCTV cameras in parking areas, and upgrade the public address system. Special police officers will also be deployed for the security of players and support staff.
GVMC Zonal Commissioner Ayyappa Naidu said preparations are underway to conduct the match with Zero Waste Management, with sanitation staff and drinking water facilities inside the stadium.
RDO Sangeet Mathur instructed officials to work in close coordination and speed up beautification works along team routes and key city locations ahead of the match.
