On February 4, at around 3.30 pm, Yadagiri received severe head injuries when he fell from a electricity pole. He was shifted to Continental Hospitals, Gachibowli, where he was on ICU support for three-days. Despite all efforts, the health condition of the electrician did not improve and the neuro-physicians declared him as brain dead due to severe head injury, on February 7.
The Jeevandan volunteers and hospital organ donation officials conducted grief counselling to the family members of the deceased including his wife Manjula and two children B Reshanth (14) and B Jeevan (12). According to Jeevandan officials, the family members of the brain dead electrician immediately agreed to donate his organs.
