Over 10,000 Dharani transactions in Mahabubnagar
District administration organised a special programme here on Tuesday where the Collector cut a cake and complimented revenue officials for performing over 10,000 transactions successfully
Mahabubnagar: Mahabubnagar Collector S Venkat Rao said Dharani is a grand success in the district as 10,387 transactions were carried out since the launch of the portal — 120 days.
Celebrating the occasion, the district administration organised a special programme here on Tuesday where the Collector cut a cake and complimented revenue officials for performing over 10,000 transactions successfully.
He said no other State in the country had introduced such a portal for the convenience of people. Though the Karnataka government had attempted, it was not successful, he said.
After booking slots, all the registrations and other transactions were being made without any issues. There used to be several disputes, including ownerships and others, but all these had been addressed successfully through the portal, he said.
Since Dharani’s launch, there had been a remarkable change in services being extended by the Revenue Department. Apart from facilitating transparent and faster completion of registrations, mutations and other transactions, the initiative is helping in minimising irregularities, he added.
