Over 1,700 youths trained at Nava Limited’s vocational centre in Kothagudem

Nava Limited's vocational training programme in Kothagudem has successfully trained over 1,700 youth, equipping them with skills in fitter and electrical courses. At a recent ceremony, certificates were awarded to successful candidates, with many securing jobs in prominent organisations such as Singareni, BHEL, and private firms.

Kothagudem: Certificates were presented to candidates who have completed training at Nava Vocational Training Institute being run by Nava Limited at Paloncha in the district as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.

At a programme held at the institute on Friday the district chief planning officer K Sanjeeva Rao handed over certificates to the candidates who completed their training in the fitter and electrical courses.

D Vamsi Krishna, a candidate who completed his training in electrical course, said that the training was very useful for him and after the training he got a job in Snyder Electrical India Company with a salary of Rs. 12,000 per month.

Sanjeeva Rao said that the vocational training centre run by Nava Limited was a great boon for the unemployed youth of the area and urged the youth to use the opportunity to shape their future.

Nava Limited GM (CSR) MGM Prasad informed that more than 1711 youths have completed various courses in the training institute so far and they have got job opportunities in leading organisations like Singareni, KTPS, BHEL as well as private companies like Kirby Buildings, Entar, Heritage and others.

General Manager (production) N Suresh Chandra, liaison officer Khadarendra Babu, vocational institute manager Ch Srinivasa Rao and others were present.
