A live mesmerising musical event was hosted by Pallavi Model School, Boduppal on June 21, 2021 on the occasion of International Music Day. The auspicious event started off with lightning of the lamp as a part of our tradition. T Tanuja, the Principal addressed the gathering and welcomed the Chief Guest DIG Sumathi, an IPS officer who played a key role in Cyber security in the State. M Komaraiah, the Honourable Chairman of Pallavi Group of Institutions, was also welcomed as a Guest of Honour. The distinguished guests addressed the gathering and enlightened everyone with their thought provoking words.
The musical journey showcased soulful rendition by Savita Namuduri, a professional musician and an eminent performer from Dallas, USA; Chitra Nagraj, from Australia who has thirty years experience in teaching Carnatic and vocal classical/devotional music, Sanskrit shlokas and bhajans. To enthrall the gathering with their singing, Sharanya Arikirevula, from Toronto, Canada and Sowmya Isukapalli, from Pennysylvania revived our music buds with their sonorous voices. The heart winning performances by the students of Surbhi Music Academy, were definitely a treat for all. The students delivered a musical introspection of their culture and individuality by singing songs of various genre.
Everyone acknowledged the efforts of the performers and the management. The esteemed guests, parents and students were complimented for their precious time and presence. All the participants’ renditions were so flawless that the virtual event proved that nothing is impossible for a motivated mind. Kudos to the performers, participants and the team.
