Hyderabad: The State government has recently constituted a committee to study the feasibility and submit recommendation for establishing a Construction University in Hyderabad.
The committee will be headed by Secretary to Government, TR&B department, while National Academy of Construction (NAC), Telangana State, Director General is the convenor.
BAI Telangana State Chairman and NAC-Executive Committee member V Bhaskar Reddy, IFAWPCA board member and NAC-Audit Committee member S Narasimha Reddy, CII Telangana, Infra & Real Estate Panel, Convenor, C Shekar Reddy and CREDAI (Telangana) members Murali Krishna Reddy, Ramchandra Reddy and Ramkrishna Rao have been appointed as the members of the committee.
The suggestions for setting up a Construction University in Hyderabad had come up during the 42nd executive committee meeting of the National Academy of Construction held in November, 2021. Accordingly, a resolution was passed for the constitution of a committee.
