Kothagudem: District Collector D Anudeep warned that PD Act would be invoked against those cultivating or selling ganja in the district.
Speaking at a review meeting on controlling ganja and gudumba here on Monday, he directed the officials to take strict measures to eradicate ganja consumption as the State government was serious about ganja menace as it was spoiling the lives of youth.
Anudeep told excise and RTA officials to set up flying squads and install CCTV cameras at the border check posts. The public should be encouraged to inform officials about ganja cultivation and its sale in the district.
