Petrol bunk run by transgenders inaugurated in Sircilla

Vemulawada MLA and government whip Adi Srinivas along with MLAs Medipally Satyam and Kavvampalli Satyanarayana inaugurated the petrol bunk.

Rajanna-Sircilla: A unique petrol bunk to be run by physically challenged persons, women and transgender persons was inaugurated in Sircilla on Saturday.

In order to provide employment to physically challenged persons, women and transgender persons, the district administration established the petrol bunk in front of the Medical College here spending Rs 4.5 crore. The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has set up the bank in 10 guntas of land.

A total of 24 persons would get employment in petrol bunk. The district administration has decided to purchase petrol and diesel from the bunk for all government departments.
