Police warn transgender persons over alleged indecent acts on Srisailam Highway
Pahadishareef police detained a few transgender persons for allegedly indulging in indecent acts along the Srisailam National Highway. The police warned that legal action would be taken if such behaviour continued, following repeated complaints from commuters and families.
Hyderabad: Unruly behaviour by some transgender persons on the Srisailam National Highway has become a regular nuisance.
Several motorists have recently complained that every day from 6 pm to midnight, several transgender persons standing on the roadside indulge in obscene acts, causing embarrassment to families travelling on the route.
Following complaints, the Pahadishareef police reached the spot and detained a few individuals on Tuesday night.
Officials warned that cases would be booked if such behaviour was repeated on the highway.
