Policy makers must stay connected to grassroot level: Rammohan Naidu
Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Kinjarampu Rammohan Naidu opined that the policy makers must keep in mind that every work they were doing would impact the people at grassroot level
Union Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu is addressing students of Kautilya School of Public Policy at GITAM University, at Rudraram in Sangareddy district on Wednesday.
Sangareddy: Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Kinjarampu Rammohan Naidu said the policy making was not just a paper work it was a people’s work. The union Minister said that the policy makers would not get desired results unless they stay connected to the gross root level of people’s life.
Addressing the students of Kautilya School of Public Policy (KSPP) graduation ceremony at Gitam University, Hyderabad, at Rudraram in Sangareddy district on Wednesday, Naidu said that he has followed a the path of staying connected with the people during his more than a decade political career as an MP.
He opined that the policy makers must keep in mind that every work they were doing would impact the people at grassroot level. Saying that he found it difficult in discharging duties when was elected for the first time due to lack of presence of efficient policy makers in his office, Naidu felt that there was a serious need for efficient policy makers in the country in different sectors.
He said that policy making was gaining prominence in governments administration, NGOs, industries and in the offices of elected representatives.
The Aviation Minister hoped that most of these graduating budding policy makers will pursue careers in the aviation industry since there was dire need for such professionals in the sector.
Naidu called upon the students to understand the country as whole to come up with ideas that touch the entire nation. He asked them to come up with inclusive ideas to cover all those who need to be reached. Vishakapantam MP and GITAM President M Sribharath, and others were present.
