Prathima Singh takes charge as Medak Collector
2019 batch IAS officer Prathima Singh took charge as Medak Collector, replacing Rahul Raj. She said her priority would be ensuring that welfare schemes reach beneficiaries and reviewed arrangements for ongoing Class 10 and intermediate examinations in the district

Medak: Prathima Singh, a 2019 batch IAS officer, took charge as Medak Collector on Thursday from the outgoing Collector Rahul Raj, who was transferred and posted as the Special Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies in Telangana.
Prathima Singh worked as Additional Collector (Local Bodies) from January 2021 onwards for nearly two years. She was greeted by Additional Collector Menchu Nagesh, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Yellaiah and other district-level officials. Speaking on the occasion, Singh said she would give utmost priority to ensuring that the welfare schemes of the State and Centre reach the right beneficiaries. She also enquired about the arrangements made for the ongoing Class 10 and intermediate examinations in the district.
