Private bus falls into gorge in Telangana’s Sangareddy; passengers escape with minor injuries

The bus that veered off NH-65 near Sadasivapet in Sangareddy district on Thursday morning.
Sangareddy: A private travel bus heading to Hyderabad from Kollapur veered off the road and plunged into a roadside gorge on NH-65 near Sadasivapet on Thursday morning. The driver is suspected to have lost control of the vehicle due to fatigue and lack of sleep.
Fortunately, the bus came to a halt after hitting a roadside culvert, which prevented a more serious accident. All passengers on board escaped with minor injuries.
The injured were shifted to the government hospital in Sadasivapet, where they received first aid. They later continued their journey to Hyderabad in another bus arranged by VRL Travels.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
