Hyderabad: The new Punjagutta Access Road Steel Bridge and the widened road using a steel structure will be inaugurated on January 20 by Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi and other elected representatives will also participate in the inaugural function.

These facilities built to ease the traffic coming from Punjagutta and moving towards KBR Park Junction were developed with an estimated cost of Rs 17 crore by the GHMC. Once this facility is made available, scores of commuters going to KBR Park Junction from Punjagutta via Banjara Hills Road Number 3 will be benefited.

While the total length of the Punjagutta Access Road Steel Bridge is 140 meters which include the 83 meters steel bridge portion and 57 meters approaches, the length of the road widened is 130 m and the steel portion is 58.55 meters.
