Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao appreciated PV Narasimha Rao Centenary Celebrations Committee member and TRS NRI wing coordinator Mahesh Bigala for conducting various international programmes abroad as part of the celebrations despite the challenges posed by Covid-19 pandemic.

Committee Chairman K Keshava Rao said 10 international webinars and over 50 meetings were conducted in different countries in connection with the PV Centenary celebrations.

Mahesh Bigala thanked the Chief Minister for appreciating the efforts put in by the committee in conducting different programmes duly following covid guidelines. The idea was to promote and propagate Narasimha Rao centenary celebrations world over through Zoom meetings and other platforms to let the present generation learn about the former Prime Minister’s contributions to the nation.

Namasthe Telangana lauded

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao complimented ‘Namasthe Telangana’ daily for publishing several news articles on former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao’s political legacy, reforms and contributions.

“The daily put in a lot of effort in propagating PV’s intelligence, political acumen and talent the world over through several news articles,” he said. “Not many are aware, especially the current generation about Narasimha Rao’s intellect and contributions. I appreciate ‘Namasthe Telangana’ for coming up with several write ups on him. A book comprising a compilation of all the news articles and write-ups has also been published,” he said.
