Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Local MLA Kova Laxmi said that students of both the government medical college and District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) were facing a slew of problems. She submitted a representation to Seethakka here on Monday, urging her to take steps to address challenges faced by the two government-run institutions at Jodeghat village in Kerameri mandal on Monday.
In her representation, Laxmi wanted a free bus facility, recruitment of faculty and the creation of a laboratory for the government medical college. She requested the government to ensure teachers and admissions of students into the DIET. She said that the students were unable to focus on their studies due to the challenges.
Minister Seethakka toured the district to inaugurate different developmental works. She laid the foundation stone for tourism works at Jodeghat and inaugurated the Tourism department building at Ada village, a science lab at a school in Janakapur in Asifabad town, a Mahashakti canteen in Asifabad, an arch at Gangapur village in Rebbena mandal.
