Remand prisoner escapes from court premises in Jagtial

A native of Lingapur of Pegadapalli mandal, Junnu Prasad was arrested for cheating the people by promising to send them to Gulf countries. He was in judicial remand in Jagtial sub-jail.

Another case was also registered against Prasad with Kodimial police station. On Tuesday, Kodimial police took him to Jagtial court on PT warrant. Court sent him for judicial remand.

While escort constable Sagar went inside to collect remand copy, Prasad escaped from the spot. Alerted cops launched a search for Prasad.
