Sangareddy: Representatives of Triton Electric Vehicles Private Limited, a US-based electric vehicles manufacturing company, made a field visit to the proposed NIMZ (National Investment and Manufacturing Zone) at Yelgoi village of Jharasangam Mandal in Sangareddy district on Wednesday.
The representatives accompanied by TSIIC (Telangana State Industrial and Infrastructure Corporation) Vice-chairman and Managing Director EV Narasimha Reddy, flew down by a helicopter from Hyderabad.
Industries Minister KT Rama had announced that the government had signed an MoU with Triton Industries in June this year. Triton will provide employment to over 25,000 and it will manufacture over 50,000 vehicles after five years of its establishment. The EV major has sought 200 acres of land for its industrial operations.
