Rythu Bharosa disbursal starts, to be completed within nine days, says Bhatti
The Congress government has started disbursing Rythu Bharosa benefits to all farmers, aiming to complete the process in nine days. The government will also extend assistance to tenant farmers and labourers

Hyderabad: With an eye on the forthcoming local body elections, the Congress government announced that the Rythu Bharosa input assistance would be extended to all farmers from Monday, removing the existing ceiling on the number of acres.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said the disbursement of Rythu Bharosa benefits would be completed within nine days. Speaking at the Rythu Nestham programme held in the city, Bhatti Vikramarka said the Congress government was spending around Rs. 70,000 crore annually on farmers’ welfare and agricultural development. At this rate, Rs. 3.5 lakh crore would be spent on the farming community over a five-year period, he said.
The Deputy Chief Minister also stated that the government had decided to extend input assistance to tenant farmers and landless agricultural labourers under the Indiramma Atmeeya Bharosa scheme. The decision was taken during a recent Ministers’ meeting held at the Integrated Command Control Centre.
