People should accept that the Covid pandemic is here to stay and everyone has to take precautions and safety measures; be it hand sanitisation, wearing a mask properly, or maintaining social distancing
Hyderabad: Humans as a race claim to be the mightiest of all the races but time is a big leveler. While we were busy boasting of our supreme characteristics, small little mishaps encroached upon our lives and have now taken humungous and monstrous proportions. Our bloated egos have come falling flat on to mother Earth as we as the so-called ‘most evolved race’ are responsible for many chaos going on presently.
Safety is not only essential, it’s priceless as said by many intelligentsia and in the current scenario, it is the most sensible thing one can do. The Covid-19 pandemic is sitting right in the middle with its fangs spreadout, people refuse to take responsibility and tend to blame the government, system and machinery.
Our medical infrastructure seems to be crashing and on a personal level we are suffering losses of our loved ones who deserved to live a little longer. I feel a surge of emotions, confusion and hopelessness but is that what I as a human am capable of? Can I in any way control the situation and wait for these tough times to pass? Well I need no time to get the answer from within and here it is and if it works for every human being, it must be pondered upon.
Firstly people should accept that the Covid pandemic is here to stay and everyone has to take precautions and safety measures; be it hand sanitisation, wearing a mask properly, or maintaining social distancing. There’s more that everyone needs to follow- to have faith, maintain sanity in tough times, share Covid treatment-related resources with those in need, donate plasma and very importantly, take the vaccination. As youngsters, teenagers can be of help to the ones in need.
People can provide food to the neighbours in case they are infected. On the emotional level, one needs to let their near and dear ones know that they are there. If meditation in these times works for some, maybe taking care of the people who are suffering works for others.
We must ensure that nature casts its affection back on us and we give back to it its former glory. Hope that all stay safe and healthy.
