Sambar deer with injuries strays into farm, dies in Telangana’s Kothagudem

Kothagudem: A Sambar deer that strayed into farm fields died at Bendalapadu village of Chandrugonda mandal in the district on Tuesday.

The locals who spotted the animal with injuries on its body informed the forest officials. The animal was said to have come from Kanakagiri forests. The officials took the Sambar deer’s carcass for examination and launched a probe into the incident.
